How does pricing work?

Pricing is per project. Each project has its own plan — Dev (free), Launch (€9), Grow (€49), Scale (€199), or Enterprise (custom). An organization with three projects pays three plan fees on a single bill. There are no per-seat fees, no build-minute limits, and no request fees. Bandwidth is the only usage metric.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Dev plan is free with no time limit and no credit card required. It includes 10 GB of bandwidth per month and runs on a velumi.dev subdomain. When you're ready to go live with a custom domain, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

What does the annual discount include?

Accepted Answer

Annual billing saves approximately 17% — you pay for 10 months and get 12. The billing interval is set at the time of your first payment and cannot be changed afterwards.

Question 4

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately with proration. The prorated difference is applied to your next invoice — there is no immediate charge. If you downgrade and your project has more environments than the new plan allows, you will need to delete the excess environments first.

Question 5

How do I cancel?

There is no cancel button. To stop being charged for a project, downgrade it to the Dev plan or delete it. When the last paid project in your organization is downgraded or deleted, the subscription is cancelled automatically and any unused paid time is credited to your account.

Is VAT included in the listed prices?

Accepted Answer

No. Prices are shown excluding VAT. If your organization is VAT-registered outside Sweden, you can add your VAT number and reverse charge applies — Velumi will not add VAT to your invoices. Swedish customers always pay 25% Swedish VAT.

What gets metered — what's included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Bandwidth is the only usage metric. Builds, deployments, requests, and team members are all unlimited and unmetered. There are no build-minute limits, no function-invocation fees, and no per-seat charges. Your bill is always plan price × number of projects — nothing else.

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth?

Each plan includes a monthly bandwidth allowance that resets at the start of every billing period — unused bandwidth does not roll over. Currently, traffic is never cut off and you are not charged beyond your plan allowance. Per-GB overage billing with a configurable spend cap per project is coming soon.

Are there per-seat or team member fees?

No. Every plan includes unlimited team members. Adding developers, clients, or collaborators to a project never costs extra.

What currencies can I pay in?

Accepted Answer

EUR, SEK, DKK, NOK, GBP, CHF, PLN, and USD. Prices are set per currency as fixed amounts — not live exchange-rate conversions. You choose your currency at first checkout, and it is locked for the organization after that.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and SEPA Direct Debit for EUR organizations. Both are charged automatically each billing cycle. Invoice billing is available on Enterprise plans.
